The Spokes team were in the thick of the action down at Phillip Island recently for the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2023, talking to fans and riders about what they can do to protect themselves on every ride on Victoria’s roads.

At the Spokes expo site, riders were able to get hold of a customised leather keyring with embossed initials of a loved one they ride safely for. Independent protective gear-tester, MotoCAP, informed riders about technical elements to look for when purchasing gear.

The Spokes Trackside Lounge was popular as always, with GA ticket holders scoring free barista coffee within a comfy trackside location to watch the action down Gardner Straight. A heap of protective gear and ticket upgrades were won on the famous spinning wheel, whilst the Motorcyclist Awareness Month team (plus special visitor, Isle of Man legend, Cameron Donald) were on hand chatting to riders about the safety challenges they face on Victoria’s roads.
